As many rural hospitals are shutting down across America, it is leaving many Americans living in rural areas endangered by the lack of access to Medical Care. As rural hospitals close down, the mortality rate for people living in rural areas increases. While this situation may seem uncontrollable, technology is providing the health care system with many promising ways of dealing with these problems. Telemedicine is being used in order to enable patients living in rural areas to get care they would otherwise never have been able to receive. Technology still holds many promising ways of dealing with healthcare problems.
